Missionaries We Support

“Beloved, you are acting faithfully in whatever you accomplish for the brethren, and especially when they are strangers; and they have testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God. For they went out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore, we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers with the truth.”  3 John 1:5-8

"And Jesus said" “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Grace Harvest Church supports a dynamic team of missionaries serving in four continents; Africa, Asia, Central America and South America. Grace Harvest seeks to support our missionaries financially, in prayer, and with any other resources that are available. Let's learn about where they serve and about the men and women who are pouring their lives into the building of Christ’s ministry worldwide.

George & Leela's

The history of Good News for India is the story of God using an ordinary couple in an extraordinary way. Born in Kerala, a south Indian State, George was headed to law school when the Lord saved him and called him for full-time ministry. He developed a special burden for the northern part of India, traditionally a very difficult place for the Gospel. George's future wife, Leela came to know the Lord at a very young age. After completing her university education in Kerala, she started teaching in a school in Katmandu, Nepal. From there she reached Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1972. George joined her in 1973 and they were married in St. Paul, Minnesota. They moved to California in 1974. George enrolled in Fuller Theological Seminary. After graduating from Fuller he joined World Vision in 1977 and served till 1986.  All through these years God was developing a vision in the hearts of George and Leela -- a vision to reach their own mother country with the Gospel. So in 1986 George resigned his position with World Vision to pioneer the ministries of Good News for India. Sharing his vision to build a training center for native Indians to go out to serve the Lord, God provided the means to build the Luther W. New Theological College in Uttar Pradesh, India. It opened its doors in 1989 and has continued to train Christian youths to serve the people of India. Please pray for George and Leela and their two sons. With God's help, Good News for India is committed to sharing the life giving Word of God to all who would listen.

Cory & Anissa Simon

Cory and his band Divine Attraction is an experimental pop-rock duo originally formed in Los Angeles, CA but currently living in the Czech Republic. Their aim is to engage listeners through heartfelt lyrics, creative sounds, and an electric live show. They had their first opportunity to serve in Czech Republic with EXIT Tour, an evangelistic outreach in high schools, in the Spring of 2012. He fell in love with the country, the people, and the opportunity to use his gifting of music to share Jesus. Following that trip, Cory felt a strong calling to return back to Czech Republic as a full-time missionary and to serve alongside JV with his wife Anissa. Since arriving on the field in April 2015, Cory and Divine Attraction have seen over 1,500 young people accept Jesus through EXIT Tour, evangelical outreach events, and both Christian and non-Christian festivals. Cory has also been able to reach the Christian community in Czech through leading worship and investing in local worship leaders. Cory and Anissa welcomed their beautiful daughter Era in November 2016.

Reverend Danny Curle -  (You tube video)

Rev. Danny Curle is a Canadian-born missionary to the nation of Zimbabwe (the former Rhodesia). He has served in Africa for over 40 years, and found early on in his ministry that feeding programs were an essential tool to opening the hearts of starving people to evangelism. During his years in Zimbabwe, he has adopted more than 20 children, founded orphanages, planted numerous churches, and established feeding and clothing programs to rural Zimbabweans suffering from the ravages of AIDS and famine. He is a man who has truly paid the price to be a minister of Christ. After the death of his wife (a car accident suspected to have been engineered by Communist opponents to their mission), he had his four sons to raise on the mission field; began adopting throwaway babies; and was even incarcerated for several months in a high security prison on trumped up charges, until being exonerated. Today, his sons and their wives are also vitally involved in his mission work.

Lucas and Tara lead Karis Ministries International.

The ministry has grown to 87 churches, 5 Bible Schools, and 3 medical clinics in Europe, Pakistan, and East and West Africa. They are on Radio Air Jesus in 132 nations with a weekly hour- long broadcast and are on several television stations in the Middle East and Africa. Their goal is to expand the ministry through church planting, crusades, and media in Germany, Luxembourg, Pakistan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and throughout Africa. Lucas Levin is a minister with a passion to empower people in God’s presence and help them understand and live their calling. Whether he is teaching, releasing a prophetic word, helping plant churches, leading a time of worship and prayer or having a healing service, Lucas shows his passion and love for the Lord. As a husband, father, and minister, one thing is always on his heart; That is to share God’s heart.

Caleb & Alyssa Mooney

As a third generation missionary, Caleb grew up on the mission field in Latin America. He worked with his parents, Chris and Donna Mooney, who are directors of Bethel Ministries International in Guatemala. In 2000, Caleb went to Christ for the Nations Institute to further his Biblical studies. There, he met and fell in love with Alyssa Mooney, his best friend and ‘partner in crime’. In 2003, God called them to serve the beautiful people of Guatemala. There, Caleb and Alyssa became lead pastors of King of Kings Church and brought up a wonderful body of believers that continue to grow to this day.  In 2006, through a vision that God gave to Caleb, JuveNet International began as a movement among the youth of Latin America. With the disposition to serve and work alongside the local pastors, JuveNet has grown tremendously; now overseeing hundreds of youth ministries in nine different countries, from North to South America!  After serving full time on the field in Guatemala for the better part of a decade; today, he and Alyssa, along with their five beautiful children; Elijah, Christopher, Nailah, Adilynn, and Sophia direct JuveNet from Salt Lake City, Utah, where they also serve as mission’s pastors of City Church Utah.  Now, based in the US, they are serving local churches across America; assisting pastors in the development of their own strategic mission’s ministries, and providing exceptional foreign missions experiences throughout Latin America. Caleb and Alyssa live with a passion to serve and empower people to fulfill their unique purpose in Christ. Their motto for God, family, and ministry is, “Pray hard, work hard, and play hard!”…and that’s exactly what they do.
